A New Plan and a New Page

So I decided when I wrote my Monday Milestones post that I needed to come up with a plan for the exercise that I am need to be doing. So I made up a fance smancy chart and put down options for every day of the week.  I am proud of myself and I think this will really help to keep me on track with my goals for exercising every week as well as help to keep weight loss steady. I am aiming to loos 15 lbs every month so I need a little boost to help keep me where I want to be.  I am excited. 

I also am curious, what are your exercise routines?  I am sure you Divas have something that is interesting that I could maybe incorporate into my exercise options.  So lets hear it ladies!!!!

Monday Milestones (Late Again!)



So Divas. Here we are again with our Monday Milestones post.  I am unfortunatly a little late this week. But here none the less.  So lets get it poppin.

Goals for last week and results in RED.
1. Exercise at least 3 times (I am going to go back to 3 untill I can do this consistantly) FAILED!! I just can't seem to get this exercies thing on track but i think I have come up with a plan. More on that later.


2. Stay on track with my calories. FAILED!!! I went over my calories on a couple of days but I am not beating myself up about it.  I actually lost 4 lbs last week. So going over iddn't really affect me like I thought it would.

3. Drink at least 80oz of water every day! SUCCESS!!! I am happy that I met at least one of my goals this week.

So on to the goals for this week. 

1. Come up with an excercise plan that I can stick to.
2. Make myself exercise even when I don't feel like it.
3. Stay on track with my calories
4. Drink at least 80oz of water a day
5. Start meditating in the morning before work.  Hopefully it will halep to clear my mind and keep me focused.

So this is what I have planned for the weeks goals. I am determined to stick to these goals this week and make myself porud.  I will be back with my exercise plan in another post later on today.

Friend Making Mondays




So over at All The Weigh the autor Kenz has something called Friend Making Mondays.  The idea is to connect with other awesome bloggers so take a moment to post your own FMM post and comment on a couple of other posts. I decided that I would participate this week so here it is.


This week's topic is the lottery, and the questions is...



What's the first thing you would do for yourself if you won 100 million dollars? Note: this question is specifically for you...what would you do for fun after the family and the bills and the obvious stuff was taken care of?

 

So if I won 100 Million Dollars I would probably loose my mind.  I would save up to by a new wardrobe once I reached my goal weight. I wold buy myself a new car (Chevy Traverse). I've had my eye on that one for a while.  I would quite my current job and go back to school to ge tmy PhD. I am such a nerd.  I would also make sure that my Momma got whatever she wanted.

Monday Milestones

Hey there my fellow Curvy Divas.  It is that time again for our Monday Milestones post.  This week I was not looking forward to writing this one today cause I know I did not do well at all this week.  But I have to bite the bullet and own up to what I did or didn't do last week. 

So here it is.  Last weeks goals and results (results in RED!)

1. Exercise at least 4 times this week. Foreal this time! Lol EPIC FAIL!!!!!!! I dodn't even know what happened.  On Monday I just didn't feel it. And the rest of the week I had the migraine from hell.  I had an excuse for not working out. But that still doesn't make it right.  I will definatly do better. 


2.Stay on track with my calories. SUCCESS!!!!!! Even though I didn't work out I did stay within my calories everyday. I am happy about that

3. Drink at least 80oz water a day! SUCCESS!!!!! I stayed on track with my water. I barely made it but I was on track.  It is getting easier so I will have to keep this up.

4. Continue to be the Curvy Diva that I am! SUCCESS!!!!!! I am me all day every day.  I am loving my self and the changes that I am seeing in my body.

So on to the goals for next week.

1. Exercise at least 3 times (I am going to go back to 3 untill I can do this consistantly)
2. Stay on track with my calories.
3. Drink at least 80oz of water every day!

I think that's it for this week. I need to keep it simple so that I can stay focused.  After looking at my results I didn't do too bad just didn't exercise any last week.  Well I am back on track now and ready to get down with my exercise.

OMG!!!!!!!!!!

Hey there Divas.  So today I had an OMG!!!!! this is soooo good and actually healthy.  I was in heaven. 

So for those that do not know I have an very unhealthy obsession with Girl Scout cookies.  As I'm sure we all so.  Those little devils come around once a year pushing crack in the form of cookies.  Their little smiling faces are hiding the truth that these cookies are addictive and if your not careful you will find yourself outside of Wal-Mart with 17 boxes of your favorite brand of crack cookies heading to your car.  Believe me when I say it can happen.

My personal favorite are the Thin Mints.  Chocolaty Minty goodness in a little cookie form. They are always better after being in the freezer for a while.  I could eat a whole box of these every day for a month and still not be tired of their goodness.

However today I discovered the healthy persons alternative to the thin mint and I almost cried.  No really I had tears in my eyes.  They were that dang good.  Behold the Quaker Delights Chocolaty Mint minis. 
I may be the latest one to the this is a great fing snack party but I am here and I am in LOVE!!!!!!!
They come in 90 calorie bags which is great because if I had a whole bag of these they would be gone. So I am excited that I have found a suitable sub for my oh so tasty Thin Mints.

Feeling Motivated

Greetings Divas,
Today was my usual bi-weekly weight in at my weight loss center. My goal from Monday was to loose 0.5 lbs.  I know right what kind of goal is that.  But alas I thought that I had not accomplished this. I am proud to announce that I lost that 0.5 lb along with 1.5lbs more for a total of 2 pounds down between Monday and Thursday! I am stoked. With that weight loss I am down 3.6 pounds for the week and also down a total of 21.4 freaking pounds.  That's right people.  Go ahead I will wait for the applause to stop! Just kidding.  But I am sooooooo freaking proud of my self.  Who knew that if I actually tried that I could accomplish this weight loss thing. 

I guess that is one of the problems I've had in loosing weight before.  I always thought that my efforts would be in vain. That no matter what I did I was destined to be fat.  Hell my WHOLE family is overweight why should I be any different.  But now my mind has changed and my body along with it.  I am no longer trying to diet but I am changing my life.  One stinking pound at a time but changing none the less. 

So TAKE THAT----- fat cells. I am on a war path and you are going down.  Its on like donkey Kong in this piece! (OK got a little carried away LOL).  But you know what I mean. 

I know that you Divas are kicking fats a$$ just like I am. Keep it up.  Fat can't last long with all these a$$ whoopings we are dishing out.

Monday Milestones (A Little Late)



Well Hello my Curvy Divas. I know I am super late with the Monday Milesotnes post but hey, beter late than never. Right????

Well before I get into the Milestones post, I would like to say that even though my weight loss has been slow it seems to me I am now currently down 19.5 pounds in 6 weeks.  I think that is pretty good.  So I will try my hardest to remain positive and keep on making my way toward my goal.

Alrighty on to last weeks goals and results (results in RED!)

1. Exercise at least 4 times this week. FAILED!!!! I really wanted to work out and extra day this week but I somehow injured myself on Thursday and I didn't feel like causing myself any more pain. I did however make it 3x this week so thats still good.

2. Stay on track with my calories intake. SUCCESS!!!! Even on Superbowl Sunday. I may have eten some nt so healthy things on that day but I didn't go overboard and I am proud of myself for that.

3. Make some more diverse meals that are within my calorie range. SUCCESS!!!! I did it again. On wednesday I made a pork roast in the crock pot with a new recipe that I found on another blog. It was delicious and only 180 calories per serving.  Woo HOoo!

4. Drink at least 80oz of water EVERYDAY!!!!!!! SEMI-SUCCESS!!! I failed one day but I am not beating my self up about it. I am still doing well.

5. Stay positive no matter what the scale says! FAILED!!!! I was disappointed with my weight loss on last Thursday and kinda yealled at my mom.  I just wanted to live in the dissapointment for a moment and she wouldn't let me.  I really am going to have to work on not letting the scale dictate my mood.


So the results for this week were decent. I am on track with my weight loss goals of 15lbs every month so I am going to keep it up.

1. Exercise at least 4 times this week. Foreal this time! Lol
2.Stay on track with my calories.
3. Drink at least 80oz water a day!
4. Continue to be the Curvy Diva that I am!
